A workshop geared toward educating teens and their parents called “Maximizing Your Online Presence” will be held Feb. 26 at 7 p.m. in the Natick High School. The program is part of the “Resilient Parent, Resilient Student” speaker series and will feature presenters Lynette Owens, director of Trend Micro’s Internet Safety for Kids & Families initiative, and Renee Bender-Cohn, a recruitment consultant. They will tackle issues like maximizing Internet and social media usage to support goals and prevent harm; creating a positive “digital footprint” that will be useful for college and careers; and how everyone can support positive “digital citizenship” in their homes. To register for the free event, visit www.resilientparentresilientchild.org.
