Northborough

Sign up for emergency notification system

The town is asking residents to sign up for its new emergency notification system. CodeRed, which replaces the town’s County Reverse 9-1-1 system, will allow local officials to quickly deliver messages to residents and businesses via an automated system in the event of severe inclement weather, evacuations, hazardous material spills, lockdowns, water system problems, missing persons, or other time-sensitive situations. The CodeRed alerts can be localized to specific sections of town or distributed townwide, depending on the situation. Registration is confidential and free.
