Subdivision seeks public-way acceptance

Last summer, a developer of the Northwoods subdivision wanted a road designated as public before the first snowfall. Kendall Homes of Northborough had hoped the town would waive its rule that a street must exist at least one year before getting public approval to have the town plow it. Snowstorms arrived well before the year had elapsed, but the approval process is going forward this month with the Planning Board, according to town planner Erica Uriarte. Northwoods is a 36-home development off Warner Road.
