Deadline for warrant articles

The Board of Selectmen has called this year’s annual Town Meeting for May 5. The warrant opened Feb. 11, and proposed articles must be submitted at the town administrator’s office at 455 Concord Ave. by 3 p.m. March 10 . Warrant requests must be made in writing, and articles proposed by citizen petition must contain verifiable signatures from at least 10 local registered voters. The town clerk recommends that citizen petitions have at least 15 signatures, to ensure that the minimum number can be certified. Contact Town Administrator David Kale at 617-993-2610 or at dkale@belmont-ma.gov for more information.
