Explore Costa Rican rain forest today

The Westborough Community Land Trust presents a colorful look at the Costa Rican rain forest at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Westborough Public Library, 55 West Main St. Scott Shumway, a biology professor at Wheaton College and president of the land trust, will show slides of the intriguing plants and animals he encountered during an expedition in the Central American country. The hourlong virtual tour of biodiversity offers a warm escape from the New England winter, organizers say. For more information, visit www.westboroughlandtrust.org.
