Make a totem pole at library

A workshop on building totem poles will be led by artist Susan Champaney at the Sherborn Library on Wednesday from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Champaney will teach children how to turn ordinary objects into recycled, “exciting” art. The end result will be a colorful, stacked totem pole. The activity is recommended for children in kindergarten and up. Champaney is a graduate of the Massachusetts College of Art, and after a career as a graphic designer for various corporations she became a full-time fine artist in 2006. Sign up for the workshop at the library; for more information, call 508-653-0770 or visit library.sherbornma.org.
