Presentation on hearing loss at library March 8

A presentation about hearing loss and assistive technology will be given at the Milford Town Library on March 8 at 2 p.m. Margaret Myatt, a longtime Milford resident who has worn hearing aids since age 30, will share information about hearing loss, demonstrate assistive technology available at low cost, and offer tips on finding a hearing professional, and on support resources available in the area. Myatt is on the steering committee of the Central Massachusetts chapter of the Hearing Loss Association of America, and is a member of the town’s Commission on Disability. Refreshments will served, and handouts will be available. More information about the Hearing Loss Association of America and its local chapter is available online at www.hearinglosscentralma.wordpress.com.
