At its recent meeting, the Board of Selectmen voted to open the warrants for the annual and Special Town Meeting sessions scheduled to convene on May 5. The board will accept proposed warrant articles for consideration until noon on March 21. Selectmen have already voted to place two articles on the Special Town Meeting warrant, which covers issues for the current fiscal year, and 13 articles on the annual warrant related to the fiscal year beginning July 1. Petition articles for the annual session require the signatures of at least 10 registered voters; articles for Special Town Meeting require at least 100 signatures.
