Harpist to perform at library March 9

Harpist Barbara Poeschl-Edrich will perform at the Newton Free Library next Sunday at 2 p.m. The free concert will include works by Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, Gabriel Faure, Harry Somers, and Louis Spohr. Ling Lo will accompany on piano. Poeschl-Edrich, a member of the faculty at Boston University, has played with numerous ensembles, including the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Boston Pops, and Handel & Haydn Society. Seating for concerts the library is limited, and is on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information, call the library at 617-796-1360, or visit www.newtonfreelibrary.net/events. The building at 330 Homer St. is handicapped accessible.
