Roast and toast at St. Patrick’s breakfast

A St. Patrick’s Day breakfast and political roast to benefit the Holliston in Bloom Committee will poke some good-natured fun at local and area politicians. The event takes place on March 15 at 9 a.m. at Anthony’s on the Green, at the Pinecrest Golf Course on Prentice Street. Selectmen Jay Marsden and Kevin Conley have volunteered to do some roasting, but the entire lineup is still being formulated, according to Bobby Blair, one of the event’s organizers. Tickets are $10, and available at the town clerk’s office at Town Hall, from Mark Ahronian of Ahronian Landscape and Design, or from Blair at 508-429-6763. Proceeds will support this year’s town beautification efforts for the America in Bloom contest.
