Wentworth Institute of Technology Professor Michael Carter, who works at the institute’s College of Arts and Sciences, will speak at the Milford Town Library about artist Norman Rockwell on Tuesday, April 22 at 7 p.m.. The lecture and slide show will explore the popular American artist’s work, and discuss the debate about whether Rockwell was indeed one of history’s great artists, or an overrated painter who never lived up to his talent. The lecture is sponsored by the Friends of the Milford Town Library, and is free and open to the public. More information about events at the library is available online at www.milfordtownlibrary.org.
