’Scholarship scuttle’ 5K walk/run


A “scholarship scuttle“ 5K walk/run to benefit graduating high-school seniors will be held Saturday, April 12, beginning at the Anna Ware Jackson Elementary School and ending at the Beatrice H. Wood Elementary School. Day-of registration ends at 8:30 a.m.; the free fun run for kids 12 and younger begins at 8:45 a.m., with the walk/run starting at 9 a.m. Race proceeds will benefit the Maggie Deeney and Beatrice H. Wood memorial scholarships given to King Philip Regional High School seniors.
