Greek festival coming to Marlborough

Labor Day weekend will take on a Greek flavor in Marlborough, with a three-day festival beginning Saturday, Sept. 2. There will be an array of food and entertainment outside Sts. Anargyroi Greek Orthodox Church, which hosts the celebration of Greek Culture. Visitors can expect the temptations of lamb shanks and baclava ice cream, traditional circular line dancing, and vendors offering Greek products. Dancing led by performers from Boston Lykeion Ellinidon and Greek Pride of Rhode Island will keep it moving from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. And marathons of live music from the Kokoris Band and Ted Chingris Band will continue the celebration from 6 to 11 p.m. The event will take place rain or shine from noon until 11 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, and from noon to 5 p.m. on Monday.
