Brookline seeks input on economic development

Brookline’s Economic Development Advisory Board is asking residents to share their vision for the town’s commercial areas, in advance of a public meeting next month. The board said in a prepared statement that the public’s participation in the survey is critical as officials conduct a “townwide visioning process.” Town officials will also host a public forum on Wednesday, Nov. 8, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Brookline Town Hall to meet with residents about development in commercial areas. The town survey asks participants to give their opinions on issues such as the kinds of development that should be encouraged, what areas need the most improvement in Brookline, and where development should occur in Brookline. The survey will also ask for input “about your vision and values for the town,” according to the statement. The survey is available at www.brooklinema.gov.
