Arlington to hold forum on driverless cars

An educational forum about driverless cars will be held on Nov. 14 at 7 p.m. in Arlington Town Hall. Driverless, or autonomous, vehicles guide themselves by sensing their environment and navigating without human input. The Arlington Department of Planning and Community Development and the Metropolitan Area Planning Council are sponsoring the forum, to help residents learn about the state of research and development of driverless cars and the potential impacts on public infrastructure and land use.
