The Franklin Public Library will hold a reopening open house on Sunday, Nov. 5, from 12:30 to 5 p.m. at its 118 Main St. location. The library has been closed since mid-September, while its materials were moved back from its temporary location at 25 Kenwood Circle, where it had been since the spring of 2016. The main library was expanded and brought up to code for its heating and cooling systems, disabilities access, and other areas. Regular library hours will resume Monday, Nov. 6, with programs including weekly story times for children, beginners’ chess instruction, teen advisory board meetings, guest speakers, and other activities.
