Potters Place, a nonprofit pottery cooperative and school, will be selling creations by 15 of its member potters during its Annual Holiday Show & Sale. Proceeds from a select number of the pieces will go toward the Alzheimer’s Association. The cooperative will be hosting its sale at 127B Old West St. in Walpole on the following dates: Friday, Nov. 17 from 6 to 9 p.m.; Saturday, Nov. 18 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Sunday, Nov. 19 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be an opening gala Friday which will feature a reception at which guests can meet the artists and enjoy complimentary refreshments. St. Joseph Parish in Medway will host its 40th Annual Christmas Marketplace and Bake Shoppe Saturday, Nov. 18 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. More than 50 crafters will be in attendance, selling a variety of items including handbags, jewelry, wreaths, and hand-stamped cards. There will be a bake sale and raffles with grand prizes like an Apple iPhone X and Celtics tickets. The Christmas fair will be at St. Joseph Parish Center at 145 Holliston St. Admission is free.
The First Church in Marlborough, Congregational will be hosting its annual Meetinghouse Fair on Saturday, Nov. 18 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 37 High St. The basket raffle, one of the most popular fair events, will be back with unique baskets that could include books, games, coffee, and sports gear.
