The 6-foot-7 Amherst College sophomore netted a game-high 17 points in a 73-61 win over Western New England Nov. 18, earning MVP honors at the Ken Wright Invitational Mens’ Basketball tournament. Newton’s Tommy Mobley (13 points) made the All Tournament Team.

NEWTON

A first-year forward for the Saint Michael’s College mens’ ice hockey team, the Kimball Academy graduate scored his first two career goals and added an assist in a 5-2 victory over Post University on Nov. 14.
