The deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum in Lincoln has received a $5,000 grant from the Foundation for MetroWest to expand hands-on visitor experiences. The funding will support deCordova’s interactive spaces and opportunities, including The Lab, a new gallery where visitors can explore art, nature, and science through a variety of multisensory activities. “We are incredibly grateful to the Foundation for MetroWest for this generous grant, which will allow us to continue offering engaging, hands-on learning experiences to visitors of all ages,” says John B. Ravenal, executive director at deCordova. The grant will help enhance deCordova’s Learning and Engagement services, including two interactive spaces for families: the Lab and the existing Process Gallery. Both spaces offer opportunities for visitors to touch, interact, create, and discover together.
