No arrests have been made. Police say they’re reviewing security camera footage and the investigation is ongoing.

McKenna Moors, 18, who was in the Cheesecake Factory at the mall when the shooting happened about 5 p.m., told the Globe via Twitter that the restaurant was on lockdown. Moors was there celebrating her friend’s birthday party. “I was so scared,” she said.

“Providence Place is cooperating fully with the Providence police department on their investigation,” said Lindsay Kahn, spokewoman for GGP, the retail real estate company that owns Providence Place. The shopping center will remain closed for the evening.
