For the record

Correction: Because of incorrect information provided to the Globe, a July 4 article about concerns raised by the Massachusetts Bar Association about One Fund Boston’s system for determining victim compensation referenced a Boston Marathon runner who had been forced to close his Alabama family-medical practice as a result of his blast-related hearing loss. Instead, the doctor has reduced his hours and is seeing fewer patients, but his practice remains open.

The Globe welcomes information about errors that call for corrections. Information may be sent to or left in a message at 617-929-8230. A listing of other contacts can be found on Page B2.
