Warren echoes Clinton’s burn on Trump

Here’s another volley in the ongoing Twitter war between Senator Elizabeth Warren and presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.

The morning after she had endorsed Hillary Clinton, the presumptive Democratic nominee, Trump tweeted his thoughts on Warren, calling her “Pocahontas” and “one of the least productive U.S. Senators.”

Warren echoed a clapback from Clinton’s campaign when Trump shared his thoughts on President Obama’s endorsement of the presumptive Democratic nominee:

The tweet from Clinton’s campaign had sparked a firestorm on the Internet.

In addition to endorsing Clinton, Warren delivered a speech Thursday night slamming Trump, in particular his controversial comments about a federal judge presiding over lawsuits against Trump University.

Warren is set to meet with Clinton Friday morning, a face-to-face that indicates Clinton is serious about putting the senator on her vice presidential short list.
