Does Sasha Obama actually tweet?

Wait — Sasha Obama tweets?

During a stump speech with Hillary Clinton, President Barack Obama compared his teenage daughter’s social media habits to Donald Trump’s, hitting the Republican candidate for his prolific tweeting.

“Everybody can tweet, but nobody actually knows what it takes to do the job until you’ve sat behind the desk. I mean, Sasha tweets, but she doesn’t think that she thereby should be sitting behind the desk,” Obama said.

But the mention of his daughter’s Twitter account led many to scratch their heads, as the 15-year-0ld girl does not appear to have a public account.

The White House declined to provide any information on Sasha’s tweeting habits, including if she has a public — or private — account. (However, both her parents have quite the presence on Twitter: Michelle Obama has two verified accounts, @MichelleObamaand @FLOTUS,while President Obama also has two handles, @BarackObamaand @POTUS.)

Obama’s mention of his daughter led many to also speculate: Where has Sasha Obama’s Twitter account been hiding?
