A former Miss Utah has added to a chorus of allegations against Donald Trump of inappropriate behavior toward women.
Temple Taggart, who won her title in 1997, told the “Today” show in a segment released Thursday Trump gave her a kiss on the lips when she first him.
“He turned to me, and um, embraced me, and gave me a kiss on the lips. I remember being shocked.”
Taggart did not consider it assault, but became upset after the Republican candidate’s lewd remarks from 2005 emerged last week. Trump can be heard bragging about he grabs women and kisses them without waiting for permission. He also claimed in the remarks that his star power allowed him to grab women by their genitalia.

“You think of sending your little daughter out there . . . with men like that, that think like that,” Taggart said.
Trump told “Today” he did not “know anything about” Taggart and denied her claims.
The real estate mogul has faced increased scrutiny over how he treats women since his 2005 comments were released Friday. Speaker Paul Ryan, Senator John McCain, and other top Republicans have withdrawn their endorsements, leading Trump to escalate a civil war within the party.
