Supporters of ousted President Mohammed Morsi ran for cover during clashes in front of a police station at Ramses Square in Cairo.
At least 82 people, including 10 policemen, have been killed in Friday's violence.
Friday saw residents and police in civilian clothing battling protesters in marches led by the Muslim Brotherhood.
A civilian aimed his weapon toward Morsi supporters as a police officer watched in Cairo's Zamalek neighborhood.
A member of the Muslim Brotherhood shouted slogans during clashes on what the organization called a "Day of Rage."
