From worst to first, no hint of Curse

In 2004 I wrote to the Globe and congratulated the Red Sox on breaking the Curse of the Bambino, and hoped that it wasn’t another 86 years until the team’s next World Series championship. With three titles in 10 years, that curse sure is gone.

I hate to say it, but the best team won — again. This was a difficult year for Boston, but hopefully going from worst to first will help everyone in and around the area.
