It takes tax revenue to shore up infrastructure


This is a part of every bad winter we’ve had. No one wants to pay taxes, which is what it takes to fix infrastructure problems. Is there waste within departments of public works? Yes. But with the kind of weather we’ve had this winter, this was predictable. The best we can hope for is that they get the potholes all fixed before next winter.
