Congress: nice work if you can get it, or if you can even call it work

Regarding the article by Noah Bierman and Kimberly Railey (“Congress back to business but it’s still not working,” Page A1, March 1), I would like to ask members of Congress where we in the private sector can find jobs like theirs — where even if you do not do your job, you continue to keep your job AND get frequent breaks to go home. Pretty cool place to work, if that is what they call what they are doing.

It’s a sad commentary when retiring Representative John Dingell says, “I find serving in the House to be obnoxious.”
