Would it not make sense to establish a committee of independent qualified citizens whose purpose would be to review the claims of the proponents of the Olympics and those who oppose the Olympics? Would it not make sense to have an objective body review the projections of revenue and expenses provided by the proponents? The same review would apply to the opponents as well.

Reaching a conclusion on whether the Olympics are good or bad for Boston — a conclusion that will have a lasting effect on Boston for years to come — deserves thoughtful and critical analysis from those whose objectivity can be trusted.
