Someday, parents will miss those snow days

In regard to the article “No-school days wear out parents” (Page A1, Feb. 13), all I have to say is: Waa, waa, waa. I hope the parents who contributed to the article read it and realize just how whiny they sound. If being with your children for five days is an inconvenience, then why on earth did you have children?

As my “baby” gets ready to leave the nest for college, I look back on snow days — however many consecutive such days there were — with a pang in my heart.

Be careful what you wish for; they won’t be inconvenient for long.
