Rail priorities misplaced


Funding rail lines to New Bedford, Fall River, the Berkshires, and Springfield puts taxpayers at risk for routes that are unlikely to be able to support themselves (“Transportation needs are clear; reforms help justify funding hike,” Editorial, March 25). This will only add to the state’s transportation funding woes in the future. The time to stop this nonsense is now.
