Humanitarian aid should be the strategy

Given that we have two factions perpetrating policies of evil in Syria, taking the side of one of them makes little moral sense in the short run, and, in the long run, would create more misery.

Humanitarian aid, and protection for those who bring it, would benefit all innocents and be money better spent.
