Romney’s remark and the presidential race he lost

A GLOBE article quotes Mitt Romney as saying about former Governor Michael Dukakis, “he can’t get a job mowing lawns.” (“No, no, not again, Romney says,” Page A1, Feb. 15).

Perhaps Romney should consider that the meanness and pettiness exemplified by this comment may be the reason people did not elect him president in 2012.
