Many faiths merit column

I AM so glad that the Globe is beginning a weekly column covering the Roman Catholic Church. Although you didn’t mention it, I assume you’ll also be adding a column about Judaism, another on the Islamic community in Boston, and another on the Protestant community. You’ll want to cover Hinduism, of course, and the many other faith traditions that are all part of the rich religious landscape of the Boston area.

So many communities of faith are doing interesting work and addressing injustices and needs, on their own as well as in partnership with others, that I am confident the Globe would not just cover one slice of it. To do so would be like covering Cambridge but not Brookline, the Red Sox but not the Bruins.
