Instead of knocking the University of Connecticut women’s basketball team for being so good and dominant, how about if Dan Shaughnessy challenged other teams out there to elevate their skills to the level necessary to compete with the UConn women? For Shaughnessy to say that the team is ruining the sport is ridiculous. These women practice and train hard to be as successful as they are, and for someone to say that they should not be watched because they are so good at what they do is absurd.
Put out the challenge I have set forth: If these teams are good enough to make the NCAA Division 1 tournament, but get defeated by 60 points, the problem is not with the team that beat them. The problem is with the team that couldn’t keep up.
