Case of horrific abuse in China calls for a wide audience

RE “SEE the movie that China desperately wants to quash” (Opinion, Dec. 4): Especially in this year of fake news and half truths, when Jeff Jacoby writes, “China was killing enormous numbers . . . by strapping them down to operating tables, still conscious, and forcibly extracting their organs,” I think that this is so outrageous, so barbaric, that maybe I need to read it somewhere other than in an opinion piece. The documentary “Human Harvest” will be seen by only a few, and if China has its way, the feature-length drama “The Bleeding Edge” won’t be widely seen either. But if what it depicts is true, the news media need to shout it out loud and clear.
