Trump unfit for the role of providing comfort to the bereaved

At first I was angry, and then tears came to my eyes when I thought about the comment that President Trump reportedly made to the widow of one of the soldiers killed in Niger. I don’t know how she took it when he told her he must have known what he signed up for, but to me it was one of the most heartless, insensitive, and ignorant things I have ever heard.

But what would you expect from a so-called president who says Puerto Rico is responsible for its misery and who doesn’t appear to believe that black lives matter?

He stepped into controversy when he criticized previous presidents over how often they called the families of troops killed in duty. All I know is that he needs to stop making these calls immediately, for the sake of the bereaved.
