Elizabeth Warren should be held to the same standard as Trump

Joan Vennochi (“Warren’s not the first to laugh off sexual harassment,” Opinion, Oct. 26) should not exempt Elizabeth Warren from the standards that all other adults are held to (including the vile Trump): that we are consistent in our values and have enough self-knowledge and self-respect to make good decisions and stand up for them, even if they inconvenience others or cause a little discomfort in the old boys club. Whether as a temporary native American or a sudden convert to press-accessibility or as a victim of sexual harassment who found it expedient to laugh it off for the entertainment of an audience, Elizabeth Warren fails the test.
