The sexual-harassment conversation is far from over

This is the best line to explain all the questions and interviews regarding the sexual harassment investigations: John Oliver, interviewing Dustin Hoffman about an allegation of sexual harassment against the actor, said, “I get no pleasure from having this conversation,” then added, “But you and I are not the victims here.”

Keep going, everyone. Report every act of sexual abuse, power abuse, harassment — respect every victim. If everyone who can report speaks out, then perhaps those who are still most vulnerable have a chance.

As Margery Eagan wrote in “The upside of the sexual harassment mess” (Opinion, Dec. 4), “Sexual harassment isn’t over. Low-paid women remain particularly at risk.”

Let all of us who were victims shout from the highest mountaintop.
