Mass. delegation regains clout, but with an asterisk

Your article about the leadership role Massachusetts’ representatives are expected to play in the House lacks a full analysis of the situation (“Mass. lawmakers regain congressional clout,” Page A7, Nov. 8). Most notably, it fails to mention Michael Capuano, the outgoing Seventh District representative, and what the loss of his seniority will mean to the state. While the election of Ayanna Pressley is groundbreaking, as you point out in a front-page article in the same edition (“Women mark a night of victory and path to change”), the analysis of its effect is incomplete.
