Rays 7, Rockies 4 — Evan Longoria hit a tiebreaking single in the 10th inning and Kelly Johnson later added a two-run homer, helping Tampa Bay to a win in Denver.
Angels 4, Orioles 0 — Jason Vargas pitched a three-hitter for his first victory with his new club, Mark Trumbo and Mike Trout homered, and host Los Angeles shut out Baltimore.
Cardinals 6, Brewers 1 — Matt Holliday and Carlos Beltran homered and Shelby Miller pitched six strong innings to help St. Louis beat host Milwaukee. Miller (4-2) gave up seven hits and a walk in six innings while striking out five.
Giants 2, Dodgers 1 — Buster Posey hit a game-ending home run into the left-field seats leading off the bottom of the ninth, as San Francisco beat Los Angeles.
Mets 7, Braves 5 — David Wright hit a tying home run in the ninth inning off closer Craig Kimbrel and New York scored twice in the 10th to win in Atlanta.
Indians 7, Twins 6 — Drew Stubbs’s RBI double with one out in the 10th inning lifted host Cleveland over Minnesota for its fifth straight victory.
Pirates 3, Nationals 1 — A.J. Burnett allowed one run and struck out nine in seven shutout innings and call-up Jordy Mercer hit a tiebreaking home run to lead Pittsburgh over visiting Washington.
Phillies 4, Marlins 1 — Jonathan Pettibone pitched neatly into the seventh, Ryan Howard, Chase Utley, and Domonic Brown hit solo homers, and host Philadelphia beat Miami.
Mariners 4, Blue Jays 0 — Felix Hernandez pitched eight shutout innings to win his third straight start, Kyle Seager and Jason Bay homered, and Seattle blanked host Toronto.
