It’s been a slow start to the season for the Blue Jays’ R.A. Dickey.

When defending Cy Young winners David Price and R.A. Dickey face off against each Tuesday in St. Petersburg, Fla., they’ll be happy to have turned the page on April.

Price finished the month 1-2 with a 5.21 ERA and went winless in his first five starts, the worst opening to a season by a Cy Young winner since Frank Viola was winless in his first seven in 1989.

Dickey was 2-4 with a 4.50 ERA and left his one outstanding outing with a sore back and neck.
