 Keys to the game: This is a pivotal game for the Revolution as the second half of the season is set to begin. With a victory, the Revolution would vault past the Dynamo into the fifth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. “It’s a rivalry, plus it is worth more points, honestly,” center back Stephen McCarthy, referencing the potential 6-point swing, said on the Revolution’s website. “You have to have almost a different mind-set that this game can basically change your season. We know how important it is; it’s probably the biggest game I’ve played in since I’ve been here with this team. We have to do well.”
