Avery Bradley has missed 13 games with an ankle injury.

In a radio appearance on 98.5 The Sports Hub Friday morning, Celtics coach Brad Stevens said guard Avery Bradley, who has missed 19 of the last 22 games with a right ankle injury, will return to the lineup against the Phoenix Suns at TD Garden Friday night.

Bradley started the first 43 games of the season before spraining his ankle during a game against the Miami Heat in mid-January. He tried to return after a five-game absence, but he quickly aggravated the injury and was forced to return to the bench. He has missed 13 consecutive games.

Whether his ankle or his shoulders, injuries have hindered Bradley’s NBA career, which is in its fourth season. Entering Friday, the 23-year-old former Texas standout has played only 191 out of a possible 311 regular-season games since joining the Celtics in 2010.

Bradley is averaging 14.3 points and 3.9 rebounds over 30.6 minutes per game this season.
