Patriots training camp information

The Patriots open the 15th training camp of the Bill Belichick era on July 24.

Once again, the Patriots invite fans to watch camp practices for free at the team facility at Gillette Stadium. The Patriots also have games and interactive football-themed activities in the Patriots Fan Zone located adjacent to the stadium and the mall at Patriot Place.

And while the schedule for the first four days of camp is set, with practices each day at 9:15 a.m., there is no set schedule yet for the remainder of camp.

• Parking and admission are free. Practices are on the fields behind Gillette Stadium.

• The schedule throughout training camp is tentative and subject to change. Fans planning to attend practice should to check for daily updates or call the training camp hotline at 508-549-0001.

• When the Patriots are forced to practice indoors due to inclement weather or poor field conditions, practices will be closed to the public.

• There are concessions positioned at various locations around the practice fields and the Patriots Fan Zone.

July 24 - first practice open to fans, 9:45 a.m.


July 25-27 - Practice open to fans, 9:15 a.m.

Aug. 1 - Patriots Hall of Fame induction of Ty Law, 4:30 p.m.

Aug. 1 - Ticketed, in-stadium practice for season ticket holders, 7 p.m.

Aug. 4-6 - Joint practices with Washington Redskins in Richmond, Va.

Aug. 7 - Preseason game at Washington, 7:30 p.m.


Aug. 12-13 - Joint practices with Philadelphia Eagles at Gillette Stadium, 2 p.m. (open to fans)

Aug. 15 - Preseason game vs. Philadelphia, 7:30 p.m.

1 - P8 entrance: Use if approaching from the south.

2 - P6 entrance: Use if approaching from the north.

3 - Retail parking (noted in yellow across the map)

4 - Patriots Place South: Shops including Staples and Bass Pro Shops.

5 - Fans’ parking for training camp

6 - Patriots Place North: Shops and restaurants.

7 - Pedestrian walkways: Marked in brown, they provide access from parking lots to the practice fields.

8 - Practice fields: Where the team will work out when not using the field inside the stadium.

9 - Bleachers, concessions: Bleachers will provide seating for 3,000 fans, with room for an additional 2,000 on the hillside. Each day, selected players will sign autographs for fans.

10 - Patriots Fan Zone: Football-themed activities, face painting, and appearances by Patriots cheerleaders.

11 - Information: The stadium ticket booth will serve as an information booth during camp.

12 - Hall at Patriots Place: The team’s interactive Hall of Fame museum where fans can take a peek under the hood of an instant replay machine or kick field goal in game-like conditions.

13 - Pro shop: Open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Prohibited items

Video Cameras; any alcoholic beverages; weapons of any kind (including knives); illegal drugs or any other illegal substance; coolers; fireworks or pyrotechnics; animals, except service animals assisting those with disabilities; noise makers; bullhorns and air horns; helium balloons; beach balls; laser pens; any other item deemed inappropriate by stadium management; flags will be allowed (no more than 2 feet in length).

From Boston and farther north: Take I-95 South to Exit 9. Follow Rte. 1 south approximately 3 miles to Gillette Stadium (on the left).

From Cape Cod: I-495 North to Exit 14A. Follow Rte. 1 north about 4 miles to Gillette Stadium (on the right).

From southern Connecticut, Rhode Island: Take I-95 North to I-495 North to Exit 14A. Follow Rte. 1 north about 4 miles to Gillette Stadium (on the right).

From northern Connecticut, Vermont, upstate New York: I-90 East to I-495 South to Exit 14A. Follow Rte. 1 north about 4 miles to Gillette Stadium (on the right).
