Celtics center Vitor Faverani was arrested for drunk driving Sunday morning in Valencia, Spain, after he ran through a red light and then collided with a bus, according to various reports from Spanish media.

The 6-foot-11-inch Faverani and others was unharmed in the accident, according to La Opinión de Málaga, which also indicated that Faverani tested three times higher than the local blood alcohol limit.

The 26-year-old joined the Celtics prior to the 2013-14 season and played sparingly, averaging 4.4 points and 3.5 rebounds over 13.2 minutes of action in 37 appearances. He remained sidelined toward the end of the season because of a knee injury.

A request for comment from the Celtics was not immediately returned.
