Tom Brady can high-five, you guys.

The Patriots quarterback catches a lot of flack, rightfully so, for having such struggles with the celebratory gesture over the years.

But everything – everything – is different now, he swears.

Or at least the comedic and sometimes self-deprecating voice behind his Facebook swears Brady is beyond his troubles.

I got a high five at the UGG shoot this week! YES!!!

But what led to Brady getting to this point?

Let’s take a walk down memory lane:

Brandon Browner goes in for a fist-bump. Brady didn’t get the cue.

Elbows? Sure.

Eh, whatever, just pull ’em in for a hug.

Julian Edelman would rather not.

Don’t let ’em break your spirit, Tom, keep smiling.

He can definitely land a high-five after throwing an invisible football to a kid who then scores a touchdown in an airport. For an ad.

Even at his UGG photoshoot, commenters questioned whether Brady actually landed that high-five.

Oh, did he ever.
