Thursday, Feb. 8
Dan Shaughnessy joins host Chris Gasper to discuss the ramifications of Josh McDaniels backing out of the Colts head coaching job to remain with the Patriots. Then, they talk about who’s to blame for so many MLB players remaining unsigned less than a week before spring training.
Wednesday, Feb. 7
Host Chris Gasper and Chad Finn react to the stunning news that Josh McDaniels has decided to return to the Patriots after agreeing to terms to be the next head coach of the Indianapolis Colts. Then, the two try and figure out if Celtics president Danny Ainge has any tricks up his sleeve with the NBA’s trade deadline set for 3 p.m. Thursday.

Guest hosts Joe Sullivan and Scott Thurston are joined by Nora Princiotti to discuss the mystery swirling around Patriots cornerback Malcolm Butler not playing any defensive snaps in Super Bowl LII. Then, they talk about replacing coordinators Matt Patricia and Josh McDaniels, and the future for Rob Gronkowski.

In Season Ticket’s last podcast from Minneapolis, Chris Gasper talks with the Boston Globe’s Ben Volin about where the Patriots fell down (Hint: DEFENSE!) and what they need to do in the offseason to improve.

Christopher L. Gasper joined the Globe as a full-time employee at Boston.com in 2001. He has been in the Globe sports department since 2006, and was the Patriots beat writer from 2006 to 2009, chronicling the only 16-0 perfect regular season in NFL history. He has been a columnist for the Globe since 2009, covering the Super Bowl, the World Series, the NBA Finals, the Stanley Cup Final, the NCAA men’s basketball Final Four, the College Football Playoff, the horse racing Triple Crown, and the 2016 Summer Olympics. He was named an APSE Top 10 columnist in 2014 and tabbed 2016 favorite sportswriter in the 2016 New England Sports Survey conducted by Channel Media and Market Research.
