The Celtics on Friday officially announced their summer league roster, which is highlighted by four returning players and five of the team’s six draft picks.
No. 3 overall pick Jaylen Brown leads the deep rookie class. Ante Zizic, the 23rd overall selection who is from Croatia, is not on the team, but French forward Guerschon Yabusele will play. The roster includes the rest of the Celtics’ recent draft class: guard Demetrius Jackson, forward Ben Bentil, and forward Abdel Nader.
Third-year forward James Young is the most experienced player on the team, and he will be joined by second-year players Terry Rozier, R.J. Hunter, and Jordan Mickey. Marcus Thornton, the 45th overall pick of last year’s draft who played in Australia last season, is also on the roster.
