The Celtics released their 2016 exhibition schedule on Thursday, a seven-game slate featuring matchups with only Eastern Conference rivals. The exhibition games kick off Oct. 4 against the Philadelphia 76ers at the Mullins Center in Amherst.
The Green then head to Greensboro, N.C. for an Oct. 6 game against Charlotte, before hosting the Hornets in a rematch at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn., on Oct. 8.
The Celtics will take on the Nets at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Oct. 13, and will play the Knicks at Madison Square Garden two days later. The exhibition schedule concludes with games against Brooklyn and New York at TD Garden, Oct. 17 and 19.
